AED-SICAD exposed its expertise and experience in integrating GIS and SAP

For the 10th time, AED-SICAD has invited its customers and business partners from many countries in Europe and Middle East to the European Utility Forum (EUF), this time to Munich. The participants welcomed the opportunity to receive first-hand information from AED-SICAD Managing Director Dr. Holger Schade and Product Manager Gerald Kreuwel on the new possibilities of the ArcFM UT Product Suite and the strategic positioning of the company in the area of utilities.

This year’s focus of the event was clearly WebApps and web-based processes, which cover system integration up to mobility. Experienced GIS experts discussed this and other topics around the ArcFM UT Product Suite in Munich and presented solutions for several utility-related business processes.

An important point of the conference is the exchange between customers and also between customers and international business partners. The different customer presentations highlighted not only the possibilities of integration with other IT systems, but also served as basis for interesting conversations, which were continued during the evening social.

For the technically especially interested and versed participants the 1-day pre-seminar offered the opportunity to immerse oneself into the finer details of configuration possibilities of the software within the specific tracks system integration, web, mobility and desktop. Furthermore, specific application scenarios were presented and explained during the pre-seminar. The pre-seminar was again - as in previous years - very well received by all participants.
