SICAD is a mature GIS software which is characterized through extensive functionality, tried and tested data management and thorough integration into the Internet technology.
This powerful product has been designed from the beginning to be an open system, oriented towards IT-standards. Therefore, SICAD is available based on UNIX as well as WINDOWS operating systems. Geo-data can be administrated in relational standard databases (INFORMIX or ORACLE) and the clients can communicate with the servers via the prevalent network protocol TCP/IP – or, for viewing purposes, simply via the Internet – with our SICAD Internet Suite.
With SICAD you can manage, edit and display all kinds of geo-data – from vector, raster or purely alphanumerical data. Converters are available to allow the data transfer of other graphical systems or to migrate data into their formats. For viewing and analysis purposes, these kinds of data can even be processed with our low-priced desktop mapping system SICAD Spatial Desktop.

SICAD provides multiple standard geo-objects, from simple objects like lines, texts, areas or symbols to powerful sector-specific objects that allow the easy management of complex topological networks like utility networks or sewage systems of large cities.
