AED-SICAD platforms

ESRI platforms

ArcGIS
For users who are working with SICAD products as well as ArcGIS from ESRI at the same time, there are multiple solutions and tools from AED-SICAD that support the parallel use of both GIS systems.

SICAD

SICAD and ArcGIS
To handle the integration of existing SICAD solutions with the ESRI base technology, AED-SICAD offers three different extensions for ArcGIS (WMS, SD and Raster). This enables the user to access his SICAD data also with ArcGIS and to display them without prior conversion. This allows for the operation of both systems with all its advantages.

SICAD/open
SICAD/open is the platform for the standard applications SICAD-UT, SICAD-LM and various applications for local authorities. Due to it's integrated development environment the most demanding applications can be set up without problems. With Geo Service Providing, you can for the first time use the full GIS functionality via Internet.

SICAD Internet Suite
The SICAD Internet Suite opens up numerous possibilities to benefit from the World Wide Web. SICAD Internet Map Service (SICAD-IMS) is a viewing system to present different data in the Inter-, Intra- or Extranet – the easiest way to obtain geographical data.
WEBFRAME is the latest Internet technology from AED-SICAD, acting as a central platform for segment-specific solutions based on ArcGIS. WEBFRAME is OGC compliant and adapted to the Internet technology of ArcGIS. It also provides enhanced Internet services.

SICAD Spatial Desktop
SICAD Spatial Desktop (SICAD/SD) is used for the analysis, viewing and presentation of geo-data. It allows the integration of different data formats (raster, vector and alphanumeric data) – also from other applications – as well as the integration in MS-Office.

SICAD-IGEN
SICAD-IGEN is a SICAD/open component. It is supposed to transfer digital networks automatically from their original scale to different target scales.

SICAD-RBS
SICAD-RBS is used for editing and preprocessing of raster data at a graphical workplace. The edited raster data can then be used for hybrid and raster-oriented applications in other SICAD products.

SICAD-PLOT
SICAD-PLOT allows for the central plot management via Intranet/Internet. The users can thus access the plot and print environment in the network via a uniform interface. SICAD-PLOT distinguishes administrator and user rights and is platform-independent.
