Network tracing

Network Tracing in ArcFM™ UT is a single mouse-click action. It is based on the standard ArcFM™ UT tracing mechanisms extended with our knowledge of the data model and our understanding of utility business processes:

• Trace all network related devices or objects
• Trace upstream to feeding unit
• Trace downstream to all devices that are fed from a source
• All tracing supports meshed networks.

Results of traces can be exploited in many ways. For example, you can search for all service connections supplied by one electrical station, pass these on with a mouse click to MS Word and produce a serial letter to those customers! Alternatively, the results can be written to an external network calculation engine, e.g. SINCAL or Neplan, etc.
