Basemap

Within the SICAD-UT family, SICAD-UT-BASEMAP (SICAD-Utility-Basemap) is a special application component designed for the object-oriented capture and maintenance of base maps for utilities. Individual object classes and the associated parameters and methods are described in SICAD-UT-BASEMAP by means of entries in a data dictionary. SICAD-UT-BASEMAP is supplied with a set of off-the-peg application parameters and can therefore go into productive operation immediately. If necessary, the entries for these parameters in the data dictionary can be modified or supplemented to adapt them to enterprise-specific requirements.

SICAD-UT-BASEMAP is a geoclient for the object-oriented capture and maintenance of geometric data. Default settings are used initially to select the object class required. Depending on which class you select, a variety of processing functions are then available.
