Course Details

This course offers you the access to the world of ArcGIS. It represents an introduction to the products ArcView, ArcEditor and ArcInfo, since these ESRI-products are based on the same technology and are accessed via the same user interface.

We make you acquainted with basic concepts and the most important data formats and their properties. We teach you the specific concepts of the applications ArcMap, ArcCatalog and ArcToolbox and how to use them via modern user interfaces. You learn basics about the Geodatabase as modern and effective form of data storage.
During the course you will produce, edit, display, analyze data and produce thematic maps. With many examples you will exercise all the functions.
