Public Water and Sewage Company in Ljubljana decides for ArcFM UT

Public water and sewage company in Ljubljana, or JP Vodovod - Kanalizacija (VO-KA), is the largest water distribution and waste water disposal company within Slovenia. VO-KA is operating a 1900 km network of water and 1100 km waste water pipes within the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, and surrounding cities. Thus they supply drinking water to about 300 000 Slovenian citizens. Due to the limitations of the current CAD-based documentation system, VO-KA requested within an international tender a state-of-the-art GIS-based asset management system. In August 2009, they decided for the ESRI-based solution “ArcFM UT” from AED-SICAD and ArcFM UT for Sewage / novaKANDIS by AED-SICAD business partner CADMAP. Gisdata, the ESRI distributor of Slovenia and AED-SICAD business partner, will implement the solution at VO-KA.
