Generic Applications with Web GEN

For requirements beyond simple drawing functions, AED-SICAD also offers editing functions for GIS Portal, which help to modify the attributes of simple objects via the web in the original dataset or to create new objects. With the specially developed Portal solution Web GEN users can create and manage data based on simple data models, so that the entire spectrum – from the technical work place to simple editing tasks – can be covered via web.

Examples for such simple data models:

• Creation of area features, like construction sites including key attributes,
• Creation of point-based objects, like outage events, marketing bill boards or street signs including key attributes.
